Walking draglines are used in open pit
mining (coal, shale, ferrous and nonferrous metal ores, gold, raw
material for chemical industry, etc.).
They are designed for overburden works and laying rock in to the
minedout space for onto the pit wall. The excavators are able to move a mined rock onto
the long distances. At mining rock of high rigidity partly or complete ground scarifying with blasting out. Simplicity of erection, maintenance and repair, reliability,
high readiness of mechanisms for operation,
high maneuverability, fine passing ability, wide technological
abilities allow to operate excavators with
large efficiency. The excavators work reliably under
the temperature from 500 to +400. We offer to the Customers 13 draglines standard
sizes with capacity of buckets 11…100 m3 and boom
length 75…130 m, including 6 variants with low specific
ground pressure.

Excavator boom represents triangular threedimensional
truss made of tubular elements. The top dragline
boom chord is preliminarily compressed with a force,
exceeding the tension caused by the working loads,
that increases the fatigue strength of the structure, its
reliability and service life. The base and revolving frame consist of segments
connected by highstrength bolts, that decreases
erec¬tion costs and time. The hydraulic walking mechanism provides smooth
moving and high maneuverability of the machine. Depending
on the dragline model the walking mechanism
may be made with three or four walking shoes. The swinging mechanism may be equipped with a
different number of planetary or conventional gear cases
depending on excavator model. Large dragline models have gearless drive of swinging
mechanism with 4, 6 or 8 lowspeed electric motors. Roller circle is with tapered rollers and forged rails
of increased operational life. Two operator’s cabs allow to control it either from the 
righthand and the lefthand side depending on particular
conditions of pitface. The cabs are designed
in compliance the latest requirements of ergonomic
standards and are comfortable to work in. Centralized lubricating automatic system ensures
a long service life of excavator mechanisms and units
with minimum power losses due to friction and allows
to save lubricants. The main mechanisms are driven with direct current
electric motors via the motorgenerator system,
with electric machine energization by thruster converters.
Control system is designed on the base of
semiconducting elements. Information and diagnostic microprocessorbased
system allows to control excavator rates, power consumption,
developed settings, loading and ventilating
stream of electrical machines, temperature of bearings,
energizing windings. Electrical machines and control systems are purposely
designed for conditions of operation with excavators.
